GREEK COOKING LESSONS

ZAKYNTHOS EXPERIENCES

Together we will have the opportunity to meet some of the secrets of the famous Mediterranean cuisine and nutrition. In our cooking lessons we only use fresh, virgin olive oil from our olive groves as well as fresh, seasonal ingredients. The course takes place in a sharing atmosphere, with humor and love. All participants will take join us into preparing Greek food meals and at the end we will all dine together in the green garden of Kanela Studios, while our dinner is accompanied by local wine from our vineyards.

MARIOS

Hi I am Marios! I was raised in Zakynthos. As one of my main passion is making things with my hands, I love exploring the cultural & natural heritage and beauty of this unique island.

One of my aims is to help the visitor get in touch with the natural and cultural hidden realms, history and heritage of Zante.

My love in Mediterranean cuisine has led me to want to share the realms of Greek gastronomy with our guests.

I am currently managing with my lovely brother our guesthouse, Kanela Studios and Kanela Cafe, a traditional Greek products & coffee shop.

OUR COOKS

MARTHA

Martha loves taking care her guests with beautiful recipes taken from the Greek Cuisine. For  many years she had been a teacher of Greek folk dances. She really enjoys teaching the secrets of Greek Cuisine to the island visitors.

ATHENA

Athena has lived all her life in Zakynthos. In her soul carries all the perfumes of the past as her upbringing was totally traditional. She comes from another world. She insists on cooking using olive woods from their olive groves on the mountainous area of Zakynthos. She really enjoy spending time with her  two wonderful grandchildren.
